Hey!

So, as you might have already realised my name is Melle Bontje. I am from Almere, The Netherlands. This city is built on reclaimed land. On this the new reclaimed land, anything is possible. New ideas come to life and can be created. And that is where I grew up and what fascinates and formed me.

What is my Why?

Something that really fascinates me, is that when reading a book, a world gets constructed in your head. You see things, experience things and it will all come to life as you imagine it.  This unique version of that whole new universe becomes real in your brain.

When I was a kid, I was always obsessed with fiction, fiction of all sorts.

Books
Movies
Theme parks
Theatre

In my latest form of existentialism I have been thinking about why I like fiction so much? I believe it is because fiction makes you open up to what could be.
I want to build these imaginary worlds by creating environments that can be experienced in the real world and let people experience their own ideas and fantasies.
